About me

Jessica has been working in the healing professions for more than 30 years. She studied painting in college, and after an impactful volunteer experience making art with children in a shelter in Savannah, Georgia, she decided to pursue a career as an art therapist and counselor.

After earning her master’s degree from Naropa University, she worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a women’s shelter, residential treatment center for children, school-based program, and outpatient clinic. Most recently, she was the director and clinical supervisor for the Naropa Community Counseling Center, and was a core faculty member in Naropa University’s graduate art therapy program for many years.

Throughout the last 30 years, Jessica has maintained an astrology practice with clients all over the world. As an astrologer, she blends her counseling skills, intuition, and love of the language of the cosmos, offering astrological readings for individuals, couples, and events.

In her psychotherapy practice, Jessica works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, specializing in trauma, dissociation, and attachment issues. Her focus includes the integration of EMDR and creative arts therapy, dissociative processes, and Jungian and psychoanalytic approaches to working with trauma.

She is a painter, beekeeper, and Buddhist practitioner, and loves yoga, magic, and all things Star Wars.
